Antique map from the All-Round Route and Panoramic Guide of the St. Lawrence… by the International Railway Publishing Co. 1897. This charming map was published in a tourism booklet and it features illustrated vignettes of notable locations. This map is oriented with Lake Ontario, the northern-most part of the river, at the bottom, and Niagara Falls at the top. Museums, forts, and hotels are also noted and illustrated on the map. Drawn by Alfred R. Waud and engraved by James L. Wiseman. Very good antique condition with folds as issued and some mild wear/wrinkles at the folds. Measures approx. 37.75 x 8 inches to the paper edges. Note: any “rainbows” or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
